Cadie Seems

The air would burn so slightly
On bended knees I'd stay all day, howling

As I stand here on my own
The neon sky seems overblown
The cheap and gloomy colours
Reflect my hollow mind

There's no denial at all
I'll always be at your beck and call
Being hopelessly devoted
Throwing sacred cows at swine

Cadie seems to make up again
Cadie seems to fold her hair again
Cadie seems to fade away
An arkward reminder of order

How come you never see me
I'm standing in your rain all day, howling

Shouldn't come here anymore
Stealing glimpses through your open door
Like a petty little sneaker
A measly parasite

The times are not for the blues
For creeping round in foreign avenues
But old similes and phrases
Just wont make it through this night

Cadie seems to make up again
Cadie seems to fall in love again
Cadie seems to fade away
An arkward reminder of order
